Me and my wife had a wonderful 8 bedroom home in Gainsville Ga with our four beautiful children, we enjoy the warmth  and hospitality of the people, we enjoyed working from home, me teaching online magic classes and my wife working as a editorial producer for MLB, our life for the most part was perfect but still there was something missing, I didn’t quite know what it was. One day after doing our taxes me and my wife came up with this great idea” let’s sell everything and move to France and open a B&B” chills ran down my back with excitment I can’t explain but I knew this was the right thing to do and so we decided that day. My wife is a German citizen and has family in Germany so moving to Europe wasn’t such a big jump for us but never the less it still was a little scary, how would the kids adjust or like it, what if we don’t make any money, I don’t know a lick of French, with all those worries our families thought we were crazy but me and my wife had a dream and we decided to follow it….no matter what! and so began our journey to move to Europe.

I woke up to the sound of my rooster crowing and 3 of my 6 kids shuffling around getting ready for school, and as I take the morning drive dropping the kids off at the bus stop, I can’t believe I’m here, the beauty is just breath taking,whether spying a wild boar or dodging deer that dash across the road, I realize I am truely living my dream. Running a bed and breakfast in France and teaching magic to student’s from all around the world has been such a rewarding expenience.

One of the most exciting things for me as a kid was watching a close-up magician make the impossible happen right in front of my eyes. Coins were dissapearing and reappearing cards were levitating, objects were moving from here to there, I knew instantly this is what I wanted to be able to do. I was 8 years old when magic touch my life, now I can give back the gift that enriched my life so much. Everyone likes to feel like their special in some way well, once you learn how to do magic your confidence grows so much because you truely become a little more unique, a little more special, and the way people treat you after a well performed trick does wonders for your self esteem your confidence and quite honestly the way others view you,That’s the great benefit to kids or anyone for that matter learning magic.
